Numbers in ASL: Beyond Counting Basics

Numbers are used constantly in American Sign Language–but producing them clearly and understanding how they function in real conversation can be challenging.  This class explores number formation, palm orientation, movement, and common mistakes that learners often make.  Participants will practice receptive and expressive number skills while building confidence using numbers naturally in everyday situations.

This workshop will cover:

  • Number formation 1-100

  • Palm orientation differences

  • Common beginner mistakes

  • Number rhythm and fluency

  • Ages, money, time, dates, addresses

  • Visual clarity and speed

This class is for Beginner–Intermediate level.
