Back to School: Signs Every Family Can Use

A new school year brings new routines, new experiences, and countless opportunities for communication. Whether your child is heading to preschool, kindergarten, or another exciting school year, American Sign Language can help build confidence, strengthen connections, and support meaningful communication every day.

Join us for this engaging online class as we learn practical ASL vocabulary and phrases that families can begin using right away. Together, we'll explore signs related to common school routines, classroom activities, school supplies, people, places, and everyday interactions that children experience throughout the school day.

This class is designed for parents, grandparents, family members, educators, and anyone who wants to support a child's language development through American Sign Language. No previous ASL experience is required.

By the end of the class, you'll leave with practical signs and phrases you can confidently use at home, on the way to school, during homework time, and while talking about your child's day.

In this class, you'll learn signs for:

  • School people (teacher, student, principal, friends, and more)

  • Common school places and routines

  • School supplies and classroom vocabulary

  • Everyday phrases families can use before, during, and after school

  • Practical ways to incorporate ASL into daily conversations

Whether you're just beginning your ASL journey or expanding your vocabulary, this class will provide practical tools to help make communication a natural part of everyday life.

Cost is only $9.99 per person
